Bretton Woods Law ("BWL”) is a public international law set of barristers Chambers that focuses on the Rule of Law, including Human Rights, International Humanitarian Law ("IHL”) and International Organisations Law. International governmental organisations, such as the United Nations, the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund, are bodies whose membership is normally comprised of sovereign states and which are created by means of multilateral treaties. They enjoy a number of privileges and immunities, including immunity from legal suit and, as such, they have adopted and abide by their own internal legal systems. I am a specialist in the law of International Organisations (institutional law, functional immunities, international administrative law and the sanctions regimes of Multilateral Development Banks).
