Molly joined College Chambers following completion of her pupillage in October 2020. She accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ work and has a particular passion for Family Children Law and Criminal Law. Having written her LLM dissertation on coercive control as a potential defence to offences against the person and murder, Molly aims to provide a sensitive and understanding approach to such matters and the implications inside and outside of the court room.
The ability to reassure clients whilst offering realistic advice is something Molly strives for and prides herself on. She is proud to receive the following feedback from a client, "Molly Mifsud was absolutely amazing in pre-court discussions and in the hearing. She was able to articulate exactly what I would have said if I had been speaking.”
Before joining Chambers, she was studying her BPTC with LLM at the University of the West of England taking the Advanced Criminal and Family Law options. Molly has enjoyed engaging with the wider legal world through Family Law and Exceptional Case Funding Pro Bono work, Citizens Advice Bureau whilst representing UWE at the Worshipful Company of Arbitrators 2019 Arbitration Competition, at which her team received "the Team Special Award.”
During her free time Molly has a passion for rowing and running and will often be found training or competing.
Molly is regulated by the Bar Standards Board, holds professional indemnity insurance with Bar Mutual and is VAT registered.
