Samuel is a barrister at Thomas More Chambers, who has a common law practice in family, civil and criminal law. He was called to the Bar in 2015.


Samuel provides advice and representation in cases involving relationship breakdown. He has particular expertise in sorting out finances when couples divorce. He also acts for individuals in cases involving unmarried couples, who have property disputes or who are considering making an application under Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989 for financial provision for their children.

He also frequently acts in child contact disputes, including applications for Child Arrangement Orders, Prohibited Steps Orders and Specific Issue Orders.


Samuel regularly acts for small businesses and sole traders in cases involving unpaid invoices. He drafts letters prior to going to court to obtain unpaid debts and also provides advice and legal representation in making legal claims for unpaid invoices.

Samuel welcomes instructions in a wide range of property disputes, from landlord and tenant to real property law. He has a particular interest in advising and representing tenants, landlords and mortgagors in possession claims.


Samuel has a particular interest and experience in defending motoring cases, from speeding offences to drink/drug driving. He regularly acts for individuals in guilty plea cases.
