Alexander was called to the Bar in 2017 by the Honourable Society of Grays Inn. Before qualifying as a barrister, Alexander was a chartered accountant working for one of the Big 4 in an offshore jurisdiction. Alexander enjoys a varied civil practice which has him appearing before courts across the South East alongside traditional drafting work.

Alexander has acted in a number of commercial matters, ranging from disputes regarding authority to bind companies to contracts, fiduciary duties owed by directors, misrepresentation and partnership disputes concerning alleged termination of partnership agreements.

Alexander has extensive experience in cases involving personal injury ranging from simple RTA whiplash claims, employer liability regarding appropriate PPE, and public liability involving serious injury.

Alexander accepts instructions in all insolvency litigation matters. Recent cases involve applications to discharge bankruptcy orders without payment of Secretary of State fees and negotiating reductions in statutory interest amounts.

Alexander has experience in both applying for and defending against civil injunctions. Alexander has also settled the underlying dispute at interim injunction appearances on prior occasions.

Alexander has considerable experience in dealing with property matters. Recent work involved advising on trespass and acting for local councils in obtaining exclusion orders, alongside traditional landlord and tenant disputes.
