I am a barrister with a civil law practice, and I work from Farrar’s Building in Temple, London. I advise and represent individuals and companies in areas including contract / commercial, insolvency, employment and education - particularly involving special education needs. I am also currently working on the Public Inquiry into the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

My career at the bar follows a previous career in business. I bring many of those practical experiences to my approach in advising and representing clients. As examples of some of my work:

I work regularly for companies and sole traders under the Direct Access scheme. Work I have undertaken recently includes a) advice and negotiation in a trademark dispute, b) drafting of contracts including shareholder agreements, and c) an unfair prejudice petition. I also have broad experience of claims for breach of contract and debt claims.

I represent both pupils / families and education providers before the SEND Tribunal. I recently acted for the responsible body in the successful defence of a claim brought for disability discrimination, and alleged failures to provide / follow an Individual Education Plan or to make reasonable adjustments.

I provide advice on prospects, drafting of ET1 and ET3 forms, and representation at Tribunal hearings. I act equally for Claimants and Respondents.
