Raj provide specialist legal advice across a wide range of civil areas of law, including business disputes, company law, insolvency, property, partnership and trusts law. His clients range from private individuals to professionals (such as solicitors, doctors and insolvency practitioners) to (from small businesses through to the largest international companies and banks).

Before joining the Bar, Raj was a solicitor in the City, qualifying at Herbert Smith in 2002 and then practising for 6 years as a commercial litigator at a leading US law firm. This provides Raj with great experience of working directly with lay clients and understanding their particular needs.

In 2007, he was appointed a Judicial Assistant to the Court of Appeal (Lady Justice Arden), which gave him an invaluable insight into the way judges decide cases and appellate work. In 2015, Raj was appointed one of the Attorney General's Junior Counsel to the Crown. Raj regularly advises and represents government departments including HMRC, the Treasury Solicitor, BEIS, the Official Receiver, Companies House and HM Land Registry.

Raj welcomes instructions from clients seeking advice or representation in legal proceedings in all areas of his practice, and he is happy to meet clients either in chambers or at their own location.
