I deal with a wide range of civil disputes, with particular expertise in personal injury, clinical negligence, and education law.

I was recently interviewed by The Law Society in their section ‘My Legal Life’ and, in May 2019, appeared as a legal expert in a BBC documentary on the Warwick University Rape Chat Scandal.

Prior to coming to the Bar, I obtained a PhD and worked as a university lecturer in medical ethics and law. I am the author of 4 books and over 300 articles on ethics and law and and have sat on committees for the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Justice, and the Royal College of Surgeons.

I give regular lectures on legal topics to solicitors and, ever since winning the Inner Temple Pupil Advocacy Prize in 2011, I take pride on the quality of my written and oral advocacy at all levels, from university hearings to the High Court.

I am trained to accept direct instructions from the public and have ‘authority to conduct litigation’, meaning that I am permitted to go on record as your legal representative and to file and serve documents on your behalf.

I respond quickly to queries and enjoy working closely with clients.
