Gavin Dingley practises principally in commercial litigation, corporate crime, immigration and administrative law.

While maintaining a strong commercial practice, Gavin has also developed a distinguished public law practice. He regularly appears in the First-tier Immigration Tribunal and in appellate proceedings in the Upper Tier Tribunal and High Court. He holds panel memberships of several Government bodies and is often instructed by the Serious Fraud Office, Health and Safety Executive and Secretary of State for the Home Department across his practice areas. Gavin actively maintains both a Claimant and Respondent practice regularly appearing for and against the Government.

Some of Gavin's recent cases include successfully appearing in the High Court for a Turkish national who was refused a business visa and drafting grounds for the Home Office defending a decision to refuse an application for British Citizenship via naturalisation . He also is currently instructed in several commercial fraud matters in the Commercial Court and is advising on a number of shareholder disputes in the County Court.

More recently, Gavin has developed a specialisation in Alternative Dispute Resolution ('ADR') and is often called upon to advise client from all over the world for a speedy and effective resolution to their disputes.

In 2015, Gavin was awarded a scholarship from the International Bar Association and attended the Annual Conference in Vienna that year to receive his award.
