Sean specialises in all areas of Immigration, Asylum, EU and Nationality law, as well as appearing in cases in other areas of law particularly, where there is an overlap with immigration and human rights issues.

Sean has considerable experience in all areas of Immigration, Asylum, EU and Nationality matters, regularly appearing in the First-Tier Tribunal and the Upper Tribunal. Sean is happy to accept instructions to appear throughout the UK. Sean is frequently instructed in Judicial Review proceedings by both solicitors and direct access clients. He is often utilised in drafting grounds and appearing in urgent applications, including injunctions. Sean is also regularly instructed to draft grounds of appeal to both the Upper Tribunal and Court of Appeal.

Having previously qualified as a solicitor, Sean is used to working with clients directly. He is happy to work outside of office hours with clients, if more convenient and subject to Court commitments, prospective clients can expect a same day response. Previous direct access clients have commented that Sean's assistance was, "invaluable", that he, "gave prompt, insightful and accurate advice", and that he made, "the process as straightforward as possible for us". Clients have also commented that Sean "put my mind at ease", made things "simple to understand" and was "happy to answer all our questions".

Since 2011, Sean has been sitting as a Lay Panellist and more recently as a Lay Chair in the Medical Practitioners Tribunal.

Sean is a member of the Immigration Legal Practitioners Association.
