Karen Gough is a barrister and Chartered Arbitrator in practice at 39 Essex Chambers in London. She is also an Attorney-at-Law with full rights of audience in Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago. She specialises in the resolution by litigation, arbitration, adjudication and/or ADR of major construction and complex commercial disputes. She is recognised for her wide experience of both domestic and international commercial arbitration law and practice, practising both as counsel and arbitrator. She practises internationally under both civil and common law systems and is known for her expertise in the arbitration of international construction disputes under the FIDIC forms of contract. Karen is a past President of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators; a member of a number of arbitral institution panels and also an accredited TECBAR and CEDR adjudicator.
