I specialise in Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence work, acting for both Claimants and Defendants in cases worth up to £1 million. I act in claims arising out of road traffic accidents, accidents at work, accidents in public places (especially shops and railway stations), occupational disease and related areas. I provide both written advice and oral representation as required. I also have extensive experience in Education Law, acting for parents on admissions and exclusions appeals, and appeals against examination results.
I am hardworking and diligent, but well able to explain often complex issues in a straightforward manner. I am approachable and friendly and will do my best to fight your corner.
I have been a barrister since 1999, and have practised in both Manchester and London, meaning that I have close contacts nationwide and am more than happy to travel as necessary.
I am happily married with three sons.
I have a law degree from St. Catherine’s College, Oxford, and a Master of Philosophy from Trinity Hall, Cambridge. I completed my academic training at the Inns of Court School of Law where I gained a “Very Competent” in my vocational examinations.
I was called to the Bar in 1999.
