Isabelle Parasram was called to the Bar in 1995 and, prior to becoming a dual capacity public access practitioner, she held high-level legal roles in the public, private, charitable and small business sectors, covering a broad range of specialisms including regulatory crime and company/commercial, education and employment law.

In 2012, Isabelle founded Greycoat Law, a boutique legal practice and consultancy firm servicing medium to large organisations and high-net-worth individuals. The firm has connections with several other independent consultant barristers to enable them to best provide the most efficient and competent service. With the support of both legal and administrative teams who work on every case, Greycoat Law offers the services traditionally covered by both the solicitor and the barrister, but with a significant reduction in fees, due to its lower overheads and the fact that no intermediary between barrister and client is required. Greycoat Law covers the following areas of law: Brexit | Criminal | Civil | Company | Commercial | Education | Employment | Family | Personal injury | Professional Conduct | Professional Negligence | Regulatory

As a Spokesperson on Brexit for a major political Party, Isabelle, along with her team, is able to offer up to date advice and guidance on the practical implications of the changes in EU law for both individuals and organisations alike.

Isabelle has extensive experience of regulatory compliance through her work within various sectors in setting up, auditing and monitoring compliance systems as well as prosecuting breaches. As part of this, she sits on and chairs panels conducting HR-related hearings.

Formerly a Legal Director within the private education sector, Isabelle is currently a Foundation Governor within the state education sector, holding several Chairmanship posts. She is also a Trustee of a School Private Fund and an Educational Foundation.

Within her legal postings, she gained day-to-day experience of management, training and corporate strategy as a Project Leader on policy projects.

Previously a Training Supervisor of pupil barristers, Isabelle was also the Training Co-Ordinator of the Governing Body of an ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School. Using her skills as a AVA College Assessor and Adult Education Teacher, Isabelle is also a popular lecturer at conferences, workshops and seminars.
