A persuasive and conscientious advocate, Carolina’s calm and approachable manner has won her praise from clients, solicitors and the judiciary. Her range of work includes fraud, violent and sexual offences, drug and firearms offences, road traffic matters and various areas of professional discipline and regulation.

Carolina has significant experience of complex document-heavy cases and is known for her meticulous attention to detail. Carolina is presently instructed as junior counsel in the case of R v Misick in the Turks and Caicos Islands, a large-scale and complex trial concerning the alleged abuse of power and receipt of many millions of dollars in bribes by the former Premier and Government ministers of the Turks and Caicos Islands between 2003 and 2009. The trial began in January of 2016 and is on-going. Carolina presently divides her time between the TCI and London; when in London she is able to accept instructions, and she remains available for advisory work at all times.
