Samantha was called in 2008 and has specialised in all aspects of family law disputes that involve children. She predominantly practises within care proceedings but she also has considerable experience dealing with complex private law disputes. Many of her cases involve complex fact-finding elements; Samantha has experience of dealing with factual disputes involving non-accidental injuries, physical, sexual, psychological and emotional abuse, neglect, parental alienation and issues surrounding domestic violence. Her meticulous preparation of cases, outstanding written work and tenacity as an advocate mark her as formidable within the court room. Samantha is confident working at any level of allocation (including cases that are listed in the High Court).

Samantha usually offers a free initial consultation for the purpose of learning more about your case and offering guidance as to whether the Direct Access Scheme is suitable. If suitable, Samantha will identify what work needs to be completed by her and she will set out in writing her fixed fee quotation. Samantha is always keen to ensure she offers clients good value for her services, where practicable to do so she will often encourage clients to carry out their own preparatory or administrative work in order to keep costs to a minimum. If not suitable for the Direct Access Scheme, recommendations can be given for local solicitors firms that might be able to assist you with your case.

Many Courts are operating remotely at the moment due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It is still essential that people are able to secure legal advice and representation; Samantha is adept at providing advice and representation remotely through a number of different forums.
