I was called to the Bar in 2003 after getting a first-class degree from Oxford University. I have been specialising in commercial disputes ever since.

I have experience of courts including county courts, High Court (Queen’s Bench Division, Admiralty and Commercial Court, Mercantile Court, Chancery Division, Companies Court) and the Court of Appeal; arbitration tribunals (LMAA, ICC, LCIA); Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and Architects Registration Board (ARB) disciplinary tribunals; and mediation.

I have wide experience of business disputes in the fields of insurance, professional negligence (including architects, surveyors and solicitors), guarantees, banking, shipping, energy, property development, property management and property damage (including subsidence and fire). I have experience of mis-selling of interest rate hedging products (IRHPs)/swaps, including acting on a direct access basis for the claimants in Bartels v Barclays Bank plc in the High Court and Court of Appeal (conjoined with CGL Group v RBS and WW Property Investments v NatWest).
