I have practiced as a barrister in Bristol for about 15 years and during that time have gained a deep experience of civil law and civil court practice and procedure.

I specialise in advising on and resolving disputes relating to residential and commercial property.

I aim to provide a friendly and approachable service, in particular: to provide prompt advice which is as clear and as concise as possible; to resolve disputes for my clients as quickly and as cost-effectively as possible, and finally, whenever it is necessary, to provide vigorous and robust advocacy in court to secure the best possible result.

My areas of expertise range from advising landlords and tenants on the validity of section 21 notices and tenancy deposit protection, to advising family members on inheritance issues.

Other areas upon which I regularly advise and represent people in court include:

- disputes between co-habitants as to their ownership rights

- disputes between neighbours (for example as to the location of a boundary or the existence of a right of way)

- party wall disputes

- leasehold disputes (for example concerning service charges)

- disputes concerning leases of commercial premises

I also advise on company and partnership disputes.

I respond to enquiries within 24 hours.
