Called to the Bar by Lincoln’s Inn in July 1979 John is a member of the Bar Association for Commerce, Finance and Industry. He has been a Crown Prosecutor in the Director of Public Prosecutions Office and also been employed in the Government Legal Service. He is an Accredited Immigration Practitioner by the Bar Standards Board.

His other practice focuses on Commercial, Crime, Employment, International Law, Landlord and Tenant, Personal Injury, Wills and Inheritance. He is authorised by the Bar Standards Board to receive instructions direct from clients and conduct Litigation on their behalf without the involvement of other legal professionals, such as solicitors. This means that he can have an early in depth appreciation of the case, deal with the necessary procedural requirements early in the case and by engaging one instead of two lawyers at this stage, save costs.

Wherever possible John will endeavour to agree a fixed fee. He will respond to enquiries within 48 hours.

John has LL.B (Hons.) and LL.M Law Degrees from the University of London. He was Junior Counsel in the Privy Council case of BELL-V- DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC PROSECUTIONS OF JAMAICA [1985] AC937 and Counsel in the Immigration Upper Tribunal case of MAYLIN ALONZO NITURA Appeal No: EA/07134/2016(Unreported).
