Specialising in property related advisory work and litigation - with a particular focus on rights of way and easements, public rights of way, and boundary disputes - I have developed a special interest in the area of pipes, drains and sewers.

I deal with both contentious and non-contentious matters, and my clients include local authorities and estates, private and corporate land owners, developers and management companies, and private individuals. My work includes dealing with residential and commercial landlord & tenants and their disputes (such as service charges, lease renewals and extensions, disrepair, possession/forfeiture, breach of covenant, consents to alterations/assignments, lease renewals, and evictions). I also regularly advise and represent clients in relation to land disputes (such as boundaries, adverse possession, rights of way/easements, trespass, nuisance, mortgages, party walls, co-ownership and conveyancing issues).

I appear in courts and tribunals of all levels - the County Court, the High Court and the Court of Appeal, and the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) and Upper Tribunal (Land Chamber). I am a Deputy District Judge (Civil) and a Recorder (Chancery and Crime)
