ProfileI am a barrister who is qualified for Public Access, which means that you can instruct me directly, without having to go through a solicitor. Using a public access barrister usually compares very favourably with the cost of instructing solicitors, and you are free to choose a barrister of the highest calibre.
I have more than 20 years' experience in civil litigation. My main areas of expertise include employment law, education disputes and all kinds of challenges to decisions by public authorities. I was appointed Queen's Counsel (QC) in 2014.Educated at Cambridge University and the Sorbonne, Paris, I practise at 11KBW, one of the country's top chambers.
My clients include employees, students and parents, companies, institutions and HM Government. My advocacy experience has ranged from local tribunals to the Supreme Court. I am also an accredited Mediator. As a Recorder, I sit as a judge in the Crown Court.
I will listen to you sympathetically, focus on your needs and provide fast, reliable and affordable legal advice including drafting legal documents and really effective letters. If you instruct me to argue your case in a court or tribunal, you can expect advocacy of the highest quality.
The legal directories (Chambers & Partners, Legal 500) record these comments about my work:
