Philip is a property and commercial lawyer with a wide ranging practice. He is ranked in the Legal 500 as a Leading Junior for Property Litigation where he is described as "A very able senior junior, who is excellent on the technical details".

He has extensive experience of most aspects of property law including commercial and residential landlord and tenant, enfranchisement, forfeiture, restrictive covenants, rights of way and other easements, estoppel, issues arising out of joint ownership of land, boundary disputes and adverse possession, claims involving rectification the Land Register, mortgages, LPA receivers and construction of covenants.

Philip also regularly deals with commercial and business disputes and applications arising out of corporate and personal insolvency.

He regularly appears in the Business and Property Courts and Queen's Bench Division of the High Court, the County Court and before more specialised tribunals such as the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber). He is equally adept at dealing with advisory work both contentious and non-contentious.

Philip has extensive experience of dealing with matters under the Direct Public Access scheme having been instructed by members of the public, businesses and other organisations since its inception.
