Tom Davies
Tom is a criminal and regulatory Barrister. He regularly appears for clients in the Magistrates' Court, Crown Court and High Court. He has experience of all hearing-types, from an individual or company's first appearance at court through to sentencing hearings, appeals and hearings where assets are at risk of confiscation. Tom is also able to provide advice in writing at any stage of a case, including advising on whether to appeal.

Crime
Tom represents individuals accused of criminal offences of all kinds. He has a particular specialism in driving offences including, speeding, driving without a licence or insurance, failing to comply with a 'section 172 notice', drink or drug driving, careless or dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
Extradition
Tom represents people who wish to resist their extradition to other countries. He has expertise in the technical aspects of arrest warrants, as well as challenging extradition on human rights grounds.
Fraud
Tom is regularly instructed in fraud cases. He has acted for defendants in prosecutions involving offences under the Insolvency Act 1986, Companies Act 2006 and Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986. Typically, this could involve accusations of falsifying or failing to keep adequate company records, breaches of restrictions on re-using a company name, or acting as a director when disqualified.
Regulatory
Tom can advise individuals at all stages of investigation or fitness to practise proceedings by their regulator.

Tom has experience acting for individuals, company directors and officers where they are accused of fraud or crimes relating to their conduct of a company.
Tom has been instructed by large prosecuting agencies such as the Serious Fraud Office and National Crime Agency in relation to complex criminal investigations.
Tom represents individuals who are accused of driving offences, including HGV drivers, tradespeople and new drivers.
Tom represents individuals whose extradition is sought by both EU and non-EU countries.
Tom is also able to represent registrants in fitness to practise proceedings.
