I appear in both tribunals (the First-tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal) and courts (including the county courts, High Court and Court of Appeal). I also regularly give seminars.
Area of Law
Chancery
I have considerable in relation to range of chancery matters involving real property. This includes disputes relating to mortgages and legal charges, boundary disputes, disputes as to beneficial entitlement of real property, enforceability of freehold covenants and variation of freehold covenants.
Landlord and Tenant
I have considerable experience of both residential and commercial disputes. I act for both landlords and tenants in relation to a wide of range of disputes including service charges, breaches of covenant, forfeiture, dilapidations, leasehold enfranchisement, renewal of business tenancies. I have particular experience of, and interest in, Right to Manage cases.
What sort of work do I do?
My landlord and tenant practice includes cases such as forfeiture, service charges, leasehold enfranchisement and renewal of business tenancies and I have particular expertise and interest in Right to Manage cases.
Other property work includes matters such as freehold covenants, charges/mortgages, trusts and beneficial interests, orders for sale, boundary disputes and adverse possession.
Who do I work for?
I act for a range of clients, from individuals to corporations, and act for both landlords and tenants.
