I am a barrister who has specialised in criminal law for over 18 years. I have defended the full range of criminal allegations from driving offences through to rape and murder. My key aim is to ensure a defendant is in the best position they can be.

I have helped thousands of clients through criminal proceedings. I know how stressful and emotionally draining that experience can be for a defendant. I look to provide calm and focused support to clients during what can be one of the most difficult experiences of their lives. With early and thorough preparation I have often ensured a case is dismissed without the need for a trial. If a case goes to trial I am a persuasive advocate who regularly impresses clients with the results achieved.

I have represented those facing criminal allegations in all criminal courts including on appeal to the Court of Appeal, Administrative Court and Supreme Court. The bulk of my work involves defending those brought before the Magistrates' or Crown Courts. I am an experienced jury advocate regularly representing defendants facing the most serious of charges.

What sort of work do I do?

I am available to defend any criminal allegation before any criminal court (the Magistrates' Court, the Crown Court, the Court Martial, the Court of Appeal). I have a huge amount of experience in seeking to persuade judges and juries in some of the most difficult of cases.

Who do I work for?

I represent clients from all walks of life in relation to all types of criminal allegation in front of all criminal courts. I am based in London, but regularly work across the whole of England & Wales.
