Marcus is privately instructed in a 'gatekeeper role' in a wide spectrum of cases in different legal areas, on behalf of clients who want his forensic approach, sound legal advice, commercial acumen and knowledge of the legal process to safeguard their real interests and as importantly their costs. Marcus also does a lot of Appeal work, mainly private but he does exceptionally take on some legal aid cases where real merit demands it. He has current work managing and advising on divorce cases for high net couples who are amicable. He carrys out work in Data Protection & Technology, in particular GDPR and privacy work as well as the related compliance, commercial issues, data investigations and data fraud work in the software, technology, fintech, data & AI markets. Marcus also has extensive and growing knowledge regarding voluntary disclosure, confidentiality and legal professional privilege.
