Graeme was called to the Bar in 1984 (England) 2020 (Ireland) and has substantial experience in litigation. He advises and represent clients in contract and commercial disputes, contentious wills, probate and trusts disputes, common law including negligence claims and family law including contested financial relief proceedings.

Graeme advises and represent clients in proceedings before courts at all levels in England and Wales. He has substantial experience in advising and pleading in commercial and consumer contracts and in chancery litigation which includes will disputes and litigation about trusts and rights in real property. He also handles cross-border legal disputes where there are jurisdiction issues or issues about the applicable law. He advises and acts for clients in common law matters including areas such as negligence, nuisance and harassment and professional disciplinary proceedings and Insolvency, both personal and corporate. He has extensive experience in family law including contested financial relief claims involving distribution of assets on divorce and private children law matters. He is authorized by the Bar Standards Board to conduct litigation and in an appropriate case provide services of barrister and solicitor. He advises on settlement and compromise agreements in contractual disputes.

Graeme has conducted chancery litigation at all levels including the Court of Appeal I can advise on probate and will disputes, disputes about a trust and claims regarding right top real estate and other property. I also deal with insolvency both personal and corporate

Commercial

Graeme represent clients in both commercial and consumer contract disputes. He has experience in all areas of contract law including seeking damages for breach of contract or remedies for pre-contract issues such as misrepresentation. He can act at all stages from letter before action to the commencement of proceedings and advocacy in all courts. He can advise on the construction of commercial and consumer contracts where there is a dispute between the parties.

Family

Graeme has extensive experience representing clients at all stages in contested financial relief proceedings from First Appointment, FDR and Final Hearing. I have appeared in numerous private children law applications and hearings including fact finding hearings. I advise and act in other areas including foreign divorces..

Inquests and Public Inquiries

Graeme appears as counsel at inquests throughout the country. He is experienced in the special advocacy required at an inquests and in the examination of witnesses including expert medical witnesses

Graeme is experienced both in practice and as an academic in all areas of private international law including jurisdiction and choice of law disputes and enforcing foreign judgments and orders in England and Wales.

Graeme advises and represent clients who are involved in disciplinary tribunal proceedings.

Travel

Graeme regularly appears in claims for compensation arising from commercial flight operations and in respect of claims under international conventions.

Wills and Probate

Graeme has substantial experience of acting in contentious probate and will disputes in the County, High Court and Court of Appeal.
