I am a barrister with significant experience of disputes that arise when people separate, argue over the ownership of assets, or dispute wills.

I have been practising for around 20 years and have gained a reputation for excellence. I have practised in multiple areas which have a cross-over, which means that I am frequently instructed where the case involves multiple areas of law - for example a divorce that includes shareholdings in companies, or challenges to a will where knowledge of matrimonial finance is relevant.

I am a Legal500 ranked leading junior in this area of law and have been involved in hundreds of cases, some of which have gone to trial, but many of which have successfully mediated or otherwise settled. I am often Instructed at an early stage of proceedings to provide an overview of the advice that I give and the steps that then need to be taken.

What sort of work do I do?

I deal principally with family fall out - the financial side of divorce, co-ownership of property disputes, will disputes, Inheritance Act claims, and linked areas - removing Executors, dealing with trusts and similar. I also deal with real property and commercial disputes.
